Community Resources for People with Autism
Board President, Carrie Lemelin, and her daughter Michelle Lemelin of Chicopee, MA at our annual conference for educators and families of individuals with autism. Michelle was diagnosed with autism at the age of 18 months. Carrie's first call was to Community Resources for People with Autism, where she received a variety of family support services. Since then, Carrie has served on Community Resources' board for many years as a way to give back to other families what she received when Michelle was young. Now 22 years old, Michelle is a student at Holyoke Community College and is employed at two area restaurants. Michelle has a very bright future and we applaud all she's accomplished and what her future will continue bring.
